About Stoic Help

Stoic Help is a small, calm website for hard days. You type how you feel and get a few real lines from Marcus Aurelius, Seneca and Epictetus, a short note on what they might mean for you, and some things to try.

Two ideas it is built on

Repetition helps. Reading or hearing one good sentence again and again can steady a loud head. That is why every page has flash cards, and why there is a repeat mode that reads one passage over and over.

Different people need different tones. Sometimes you need someone gentle. Sometimes you need a push. So every page has a gentle and a tough-love voice, and you can switch at any time.

How we keep it honest

What this is not

Stoic Help offers philosophy and reflection. It is not therapy, medical advice or a crisis service. If you are struggling, a doctor or licensed therapist can help in ways a website cannot. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US). See crisis help.

Who publishes it

Stoic Help is published by OPTIMUM PRIDE LLC.
